About the event
The National Rugby Premier League (NRPL) is launching its inaugural 2026 season, and Las Vegas has officially been selected as one of the founding teams. This open tryout is your opportunity to earn a roster spot and compete in a new pro-style rugby league built for speed, strength, discipline, and big-time performance.
No rugby experience is required. We are recruiting football players, wrestlers, track athletes, basketball players, rugby athletes, and all-around competitors ready to bring high-intensity energy to the Kings’ roster. Athletes will be evaluated on speed, strength, agility, discipline, and coachability.
Participants will take part in combine-style testing, position drills, competitive reps, and controlled scrimmage sessions. Top performers will advance to Kings Training Camp for the 2026 season.
Las Vegas will be one of 32 NRPL teams competing nationwide, with league-provided uniforms, travel, hotels, and game operations covered for rostered players. Additional compensation is available through game-day stipends and performance-based bonuses.
